  Very beautiful location with an amazing view of the coastline. Although the mountain the resort is on is quite a difficult walk it’s a very easy and manageable trip with a hire car. Stayed for 5 glorious days and enjoyed the bath, the birds and the pool. Would recommend going to Woolworths to get staples like toilet paper etc as the “starter pack” isn’t very big. The parking was great and the full kitchen and laundry was a huge added bonus.

  The place was great, the balcony sensational, the view to die for but the tub; oh! the tub. There should be a sign on it "You must be over 18 to bathe in this tub."

  The stay was lovely, the apartment was well cleaned and presented. The apartment is located within a complex of other apartments, and happens to be up a very steep hill (if you want a nice view in Airlie, you’re going to have a steep hill) so we did have to taxi home a few times. We tackled the hill a few times too but only when we didn’t have any extra bags/shopping to carry, as the hill is tiring enough just getting yourself up there!
  Our only negatives regarding the stay were the few supplies provided (ie only two toilet paper rolls, one dishwashing tablet) which made it hard to get through our five day stay- it wasn’t worth buying a full pack of toilet paper or dishwashing tablets so we had to ration the supplies tightly. The other strange thing was that one day after being out all day, we came back to find a ‘noise complaint’ reminder card placed on the island bench, inside the apartment. We found it a little bit uncomfortable knowing that someone had accessed the apartment without our knowledge whilst we were out- if someone had left valuables in the room (which we luckily had not) it would be a massive concern. We felt it would be more appropriate for the item to be placed at the front door, or slid under the door. (Also, we had no idea what the noise complaint was regarding- we certainly weren’t loud throughout the stay- we were asleep each night before the 10pm curfew and quiet in the mornings before 8am while we made breaky).
  Overall an affordable and comfortable place to stay with a beautiful view, would recommend (but don’t leave valuables in the room!)
