The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with cooktop, microwave and fridge. There is also an outdoor dining setting where you can relax and enjoy the cool ocean breezes, pre dinner drinks and alfresco dining.

You will enjoy the comfort of a a queen size bed in the master and 2 x singles in the second bedroom.

"What A View 2 bedroom apartment" is part of the Searene apartments and has an infinity edge pool with a spa that is positioned to take in the most amazing views of the Coral Sea and Hayman Island. This is a great designed complex that is sure to leave a lasting impression on your family and friends.

This is a dual key property, so you also have the option to book the 1 bedroom studio apartment next door if you have friends or family that would like to join you.

The apartment is fully air conditioned, has free unlimited Wi-Fi, a washing machine and clothes dryer and an elevator that takes you up to your apartment floor. There is also 1 secure undercover car space.

Please note our properties are fully self-contained with full kitchens and laundries. Linen & bath/pool towels are supplied with beds made up, along with a starter kit of tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper, milk, and detergents, etc (to get you through your first night).

  This apartment was an excellent location for our family.Very clean and spacious. Walking distance to the main town and a fabulous view overlooking the sea. The daily visits from the friendly and inquisitive cockatoos was also a novelty for us. We loved Mika, the Mexican restaurant in the main town. Would recommend a trip out to Cape Gloucester and the nearby resort for a refreshment. Hideaway Bay was also a lovely beach. We even saw a turtle! We had quick responses from the customer service team and good communication prior to our arrival. We would recommend this property to our family and friends.

  The breath taking view from our holiday apartment at Airlie Beach was exactly as pictured - loved waking up to it and watching the sun go down at the end of day. Even though situated on a hill, walk down to Airlie Central was doable and we found taxis back to the apartment generally no issue. Apartment was good and we did also really like the complex pool.

  We had an amazing stay, easy walk down to the main street, walking back not for the faint hearted, but that’s what cabs are for. It’s a very small price to pay for the view.   What we loved about 5B ‘what a view’ apartment 2 bedroom: The view is exactly as shown in photos. It is beautiful, the blue sea changes throughout the day and it truly amazing. This is a lovely, light and airy apartment. The outside space is huge and so is the BBQ. This apartment gets sun on the balcony area till around 1pm (July) whereas some other apartments in the block are in shade. The furniture is lovely and comfortable. The TV is very large. The photos provided are accurate. Overall we had a good stay and would give it 4.5 stars if we could.
  
  What could be better: The bathroom is very old and tired. The sink and bath have cracks and scratches and it is not modern as you would expect in an apartment of this quality. It really lets the apartment down, functionally it works with a powerful shower but it really needs updating. It has 3 doors in, one from main bedroom, two from hall, so you can effectively use toilet if someone in shower, but locking three doors and remembering to unlock them again a bit of a pain. Photos they have provided are accurate but it is close up you see the age of the facilities.
  
  The kitchen is fine but again doors look worn and some don’t shut properly. The apartment is for 4 people but they are only 2 sun loungers which is strange given the amount of outdoor space. The Wi-Fi is very slow, I gave up and used my mobile data.
  
  Also just be aware that when you arrive, unlike other apartments here, they do not have a key box. You have to go to a completely different address 10 minutes walk away. This is down a very steep hill, so you need to go to collect key and then walk up the hill to the apartment. This means one of your party has to wait with luggage whilst someone else gets the key, you cannot access the lobby of the property so they are waiting in the car park without seating. This is quite a workout after a day travelling. The company seem to assume people have cars but we did not.
